Hi! I’m Rowan. I am a freelance journalist and feature writer based in Toronto and sometimes from Vancouver Island. I focus on Canadian health and social issues, from substance use to sexual health and migration.

I tell complex stories impacting people and the world, from close and afar, to ignite change, harmony and better understanding. My long-form, human-centred stories combine research and investigation to report comprehensively.

I have skills in graphic design, video, and audio. I am comfortable working independently and with a team in fast-paced environments, and can effectively communicate ideas and information.
